I cannot express how awesome this is. Instantly cleared all the unwanted crap from my VS 2013.3. Not to overstate things, but I'm pretty sure endorphins were released. Thanks so much!

Did exactly what I wanted and removed all the junk extensions installed by MS that I didn't ask for and will never use. Many thanks for creating this!

Short, sweet, and to the point. Worked great first time in elevated command prompt with default config file. Added a couple more keys to kill a couple more bogus extensions and presto...lean mean Visual Studio in under five minutes total. TotalUnistaller was totally awesome.

This is amazing! All of the hidden crap is gone now! VS clearly got faster after using it. I'm saving it for future use. It could be useful in other scenarios. Guys, remember to run as administrator.

I love how Visual Studio is at version, what, 12? And we still have to make workarounds like this. Excellent utility, preconfigured to do exactly what I want. (/Filter then /Uninstall).

ESPECTACULAR. I had a lot of problems trying to uninstall Workflow Manager Tools for Visual Studio and Workflow Manager Client and this tool solved this!!! It is really awesome! These two packages could not be unistalled from Program Files and Features, and also not from Web Platform Installer. There wasn't any point to uninstall it. This tolos solved my problems! Thanks a lot!

Update 2014-10-18: Fails when run against Visual Studio 2013 Update 4 RC with the following error: Unhandled Exception: Microsoft.Deployment.WindowsInstaller.InstallerException: Access is denied. at Microsoft.Deployment.WindowsInstaller.ProductInstallation.<GetProducts>d__6.MoveNext() at TotalUninstaller.Program.Main(String[] args) Update: since all CF/LF get removed when I save this review, you'll have to "imagine" where I put them. I ran this tool on my Windows 8.1 with Update 1 64-bit laptop against Visual Studio 2013 Premium with Update 3 and it worked flawlessly unchanged. Here's exactly what I did: 1. I downloaded the ZIP file. 2. I "Unblocked" the ZIP file (you do unblock files first, don't you? You don't? Then you need to start doing that). 3. I unzipped the file to D:\TotalUninstaller 4. I created a PowerShell script to run the tool (see below). 5. I ran first with the /ListAll switch. 6. I ran a second time with the /Filter switch. 7. I ran a third time with the /Uninstall switch. (all of the above were performed inside a PowerShell prompt that I started via "run as Administrator). Set-Location -LiteralPath D:\TotalUninstaller Start-Transcript -Pat
